About Ann
Ann is delighted to bring the benefits of osteopathy to the community – be it for babies, children, the elderly or any one in between. She utilises a broad range of osteopathic techniques including cranial osteopathy and gentle joint and soft tissue manipulation, selecting the most appropriate approach according to the needs and preferences of the individual. Ann is passionate about the high level of care she offers and, in addition to reducing symptoms, she aims to educate, enlighten and encourage patients to participate in their own recovery, including exercise rehabilitation when appropriate.
Prior to qualifying as an osteopath Ann spent a number of years working as a Personal Trainer and as an exercise specialist for the NHS on cardiac rehabilitation and fall prevention programs across Buckinghamshire. In 2010, after 5 years of rigorous training, Ann achieved an honours degree in Osteopathy from the College of Osteopaths in London. Her post graduate training includes ‘Osteopathy in the Cranial Field’ with the Sutherland Cranial College. Ann’s research has focused on the side-effects and effective treatment of long-term, recurrent ear infections in children.
